Guten Tag, mein Name ist Rie. Nach zweieinhalb Jahren hat Japan seine Isolationspolitik endlich beendet. Liebe meine Gaeste, danke fuers Warten ! Was moechten Sie sehen, wenn Sie nach Japan kommen ? Was moechten Sie wissen ? Was moechten Sie essen ?

Hi! I’m Yoshi. I’m a pure, but a little bit an international, Japanese, living in Yokohama for about half a century. In addition, I used to live in Malaysia for 2 years, U.S.A. for 8 years and Canada for 3 years. I had long been involved in the international trade of U.S., Canadian, Australian and European grains for 40 years, during which I visited more than 40 countries including most of East Asian and South East Asian countries and most of Western European countries. Now I’m a national certified guide-interpreter, working here for the past couple of years. Believe! There is much more vast range of tourist spots and attractions throughout the year in Japan, even in Tokyo and its neighboring area, than “Green Michelin” and “Lonely Planet” offer to the world. Oops! You will surely encounter a new electricity here and there, day and night! It’s really great to be welcoming here those who; - Like to visit famous historic and cultural sites, shrines and temples in Tokyo, Kamakura, Nikko and other local areas, - Love to bask in the natural beauty of Hakone, Mount Fuji and their vicinity, - Have a keen interest in time-honored, culture-rich local cities like Kanazawa, Takayama, Matsumoto, Nagano and unique rural areas like Shirakawa-go and so many others, - Are fascinated in Japanese art and paintings, both traditional and contemporary, including “Ukiyo-e”, wood block printings, - Are aggressive enough to stroll in the sky by a gondola over an active volcano and sulfurous gush! Oh dear! - Are passionate enough to directly touch the atmosphere of live, sometimes violent, “Matsuri”, traditional festivals in downtown, - Wish to experience Japanese traditional, elaborate craftwork, handed down for centuries, - Are enthusiastic about Japanese various pop culture and unique attractions, - Like, or need, to escape from your everyday stress or boredom anyway! Seeing is believing. Sightseeing is feeling through your own five senses! See Naples and Come on in Japan any time! I’m ready here whenever you are.

I have been in Tokyo(downtown side) since I was born. For three years I have traveled in 57 countries and worked in Bolivia for a year. When I traveled in Maya's ruin, I was really impressed that my guide told me not only the information about the ruin but also how to live in Guatemala, how to earn and the political problem etc... A guide is a diplomatic entrance to the country, I think. From this experience, I would like to give you what I have to every customer. Having been worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan, though I know the educational issue as a strong point, now I work as a tour-conductor traveling around Tokyo area. I used to hike around the world, of course in Japan. Northern Japan Alpes, Southern Japan Alpes, Yatsugatake mountain range and Mt.Fuji. The highest one for me is Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador with 5892m. Another strong point is that I can hike with you. Let us make unforgettable and precious moment during the tour!

Fabulous wine tour in Yamanashi

Chinami guided us on a very nice tour through Yamanashi, where we visited several wineries. She went far beyond what we had expected in finding good wineries, both showing small local wineries, and finding the more high end larger producers. She also had extensive knowledge of the region and gave a lot of great information along the way. Thank you for making it a sunny day even though the rain was trying to drown us at times :-)

Exceptional Nikko Tour with Kahoko

Our day exploring Nikko with Kahoko was the highlight of our Japan trip. From the moment she picked us up in Tokyo, it was clear that we were in for a special experience. Kahoko’s meticulous planning and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our day was seamless and enjoyable. She organized everything with great care—from booking the train and arranging a special taxi to guiding us through breathtaking lakes, waterfalls, and stunning temples and shrines. Her deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history was evident as she shared fascinating stories and insights about her homeland. The day was perfectly rounded off with a beautiful lunch, which was not only delicious but also an excellent representation of local cuisine. Kahoko’s passion for her country and commitment to providing a memorable experience truly set this tour apart. If you’re looking for a personalized and enriching journey through Nikko, I can’t recommend Kahoko highly enough. She goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience.

Thank you very much for the kindest review! It was very encouraging for me and gave me another motivation for this job. Regarding our Nikko tour, I had been concerning for a week watching weather forecast. Still, thanks to an Italian lucky guy, there was no rain throughout the tour. Also, the typhoon vacancy made our tour enrich from Imperial summer villa to 200 steps to the tomb. It might have been a tough tour physically, but I enjoyed every moment with charming and promising young guys. As a mom of 3 kids, I found all of your presents' great job to produce such pleasant and splendid people. Here again, I appreciate from bottom of my heart you choosing me as a guide for your precious occasion. I just hope you safely arrive Hakone today and spend another joyful time there. I wish I will be able to see you again!

Morning with Nani in Sendai

I had a wonderful tour of 3 hours plus with Mai in Sendai, her hometown. Mai spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about local landmarks, the major religions and local history. She is a lovely person and I enjoyed getting to know her. After the tour I contacted her and asked for restaurant recommendations in Yamagata and she texted me some wonderful options. I would highly recommend Mai for any tours in the area.
