At Korean Folk Village, visitors are taken back into the past, to the days of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). One of the first open-air museums in the country, Korean Folk Village lets visitors experience not only the architecture of traditional Korea but also the traditions of times gone by.
Hwaseong is a piled-stone and brick fortress of the Joseon Dynasty that surrounds the center of Suwon City near Seoul. It was built in the late 18th century by King Jeongjo for defensive purposes, to form a new political basis, and to house the remains of his father, Crown Prince Jangheon. The massive walls of the fortress, which are 5.74 km in length, enclose an area of 130 ha and follow the topography of the land.
Sebitseom is a cultural complex built to be a landmark on the Han River in the heart of downtown Seoul, a place where you can enjoy special cultural contents at the water’s edge. It is the world’s first floating structure with buildings that can float on water.

We were in Korea for a few days and toured with Thomas on 2 of those days. He is efficient, organized, and eager to share his local insights. It was nice to have him also take on the duties of photographer and chauffeur. I feel like we received a great introduction to this interesting and ancient culture and I would love to return in the future for a deeper dive.
Thank you for the good review. I am glad to hear that your family had a wonderful time in Korea. I hope everything goes well with you and your family. I wish you and your family are always healthy and hope to see you again someday. Thomas KIM
Thomas met us promptly at our Seoul hotel and we had a full day focused on the DMZ and the War Museum. He is a careful driver and took many excellent pictures for us on his camera (our own paparazzi). He was easy to talk to and enhanced our knowledge of the culture and politics of Korea. His choice of a lunch spot was amazing! Great ambassador for Korea.
Thank you for spending your precious time with me in Korea. I was happy to guide you. Always be healthy and happy.
Thomas is phenomenal. Showed me around for the day. Is knowledgeable and very pleasant to be with. Will definitely come back to South Korea and will 100% use Thomas again. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much Thomas.
Thank you, Katie. I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed my tour. The layover tour is one of the difficult tours because time allocation is very important. If you come to Korea again, I will do my best for your unforgettable moments in Korea. I hope everything goes well with you and your family.
Thomas is a very knowledgeable guide. He showed us the most interesting places in Seoul. He is a good photographer. He made sooo many pictures. We would definitely recommend him to our friends
Thank you for your excellent review. It was my pleasure to guide your group. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the Seoul City Tour. 5 hours were not enough to go many places. If you come to Korea again, I will show you more places with delicious korean food. I hope everything goes well with you. Thank you very much again.
