The history of the temple dates back to the 7th century, the oldest one in Tokyo. It's very popular for its main entrance gate with a giant red lantern, called Kaminai-mon Gate.
The Imperial Palace used to be Edo castle, the seat of Tokugawa feudal government, during the early 17th century to the mid- 19th century. You can see the remains of the huge castle and traditional Japanese style garden surrounded by moats and high stone walls.

The shrine was dedicated to Emperor Meiji who ascended the throne in 1868 and transformed Japan from isolated feudal country into a modern nation. It was built in 1920 to commemorate his achivement. The shrine is surrounded by vast woods and an oasis in downtown Tokyo .
It’s located in front of Shibuya station and called world’s busiest intersection. People come from all directions at once, sometimes over several hundreds with every light change.

4.The tour is not covered with any travel insurances. I'd recommend that you buy your own travel insurance in case of any unexpected accidents and losses. Of course, I'll do my best to keep you away from such accidents.

I highly recommend a tour with Toru. His English is exceptional and his knowledge was vast. He was friendly, generous and found a vegetarian friendly cafe for us to eat at. One of there best guides we had in Japan. Toru was warm, insightful and attentive to our family of 6 as we explored Hakone and the surrounding area. He made sure we experienced the beauty and history of the region. Highlight of the day was an incredible meal at Itoh and a visit to the open air museum.
