You can take a mini tour in the brewery, taste and buy sake at the shop, and enjoy lunch with tasty sake in a cozy Japanese restaurant nearby.
You will also enjoy a train trip to Ibaraki by a comfortable limited express and a cute local train.

I can guide you in Tohoku District including Akita, Aomori, Iwate, Fukushima, Miyagi and Yamagata only if you could bear my transportation fee of 8,000Yen. (Sorry, but I usually live in Chiba.)
For Kanto District including Chiba, Hakone, Ibaraki, Kamakura, Kanagawa, Mt. Fuji, Narita, Nikko, Saitama, Tochigi, Tokyo and Yokohama, the pick up fee is 3,000Yen.

The best time to visit is in the winter (November-March), because this is the season when sake is brewed.

Train fee: Approximately 9,000Yen (4,500Yen x 2) including limited express fee
*If you have Japan Rail Pass, the train fee should be 640Yen (320Yen x 2)
Taxi fee: Approximately 1000Yen x 2
From about 1,000Yen up to 10,000Yen or more, excluding Japanese sake. (You can order from various kinds of rice balls, sushi sets, full courses or faborite plates, whichever you like)
Sake will be from 450Yen to 1,500Yen per 180ml depending on breweries and methods.
We had a long layover at the Narita airport. I found Go With Guide online a month earlier. I had never heard of it before but decided to give it a try. I was happy that I did. My daughter and I met Nobu S. at Keisei Norita station. We walked in and around the temple, park and streets. Nobu's english is good. He had good knowledge of the area and also visited some of the shops with us. I recommend this service and Nobu as your guide around Tokyo or Narita.
