In this tour, you can experience a traditional culture of Japan with your five senses. The highlight of this tour is placed on the meeting with Geisha. At your hotel
Enjoy Matcha experience at a traditional Japanese room with tatami floor in Rakusui-en. You can stroll a tiny garden there.
Visit Kushida shrine loved by local people. We can learn about shrine and Shitonism, Japanese original religion through visiting a typical shinto shrine.
Visit a former merchant's house which keeps some typical features of an old Japanese architecture. We can see how Japanese houses look like not only outside but inside. You will have time to buy some souvenirs next to this house.
Watch Geisha performance at a performance center. They will perform traditional Japanese dance in accompaniment with Japanese musical instruments such as Shamisen. After performing, you can try traditional Japanese games with Geisha if you wish. Q&A time is prepared. you can have a chance to take a picture with Geisha performed there.
At your hotel
In this tour, you will touch a traditional culture of Japan. We will visit some places of Hakata area mainly on foot. We will visit Kushida-Shrine in the historical area of Fukuoka, where some temples and shrines are closely located. We will learn the different regions, Shinto and Buddhism, which are prevalent in Japan.
Not only visiting places, this tour provides you to experience Japanese culture. The first experience is to visit a tiny tea house with a small garden and have an experience to drink Matcha (powered tea offered at tea ceremony) and eat a sweet at a traditional Japanese tatami mat room. You can share the serene atmosphere at an old-fashioned house.
Appreciation of Geisha's performance is this tour's highlight. You can enjoy watching the dance performance by Geisha, playing games with them. Q&A time is prepared so you can directly ask questions to them. A photo of you and Geisha must be a great souvenir and good memory for you.
