Hello! My name is Lea, Split is my hometown and I'm a licensed tour guide for Split-Dalmatia, Dubrovnik-Neretva and Šibenik-Knin county, both in English and Spanish language. I was born in Split, I have been living here for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing its beauty and culture! I got my Master's degree in Marketing, at Faculty of Economics here in Split. Following my university studies, I moved to Barcelona to do an internship before returning back to Split. I have always enjoyed learning languages, travelling and experiencing different cultures. Soon after graduation I have realised that office job doesn't suit me and I started to work as a tour guide, which was the best decision I have ever made! When I'm not tour guiding, I love to learn languages - I can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Yoga is also one of my passions, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) by International Yoga Alliance. Local gastronomy has always interested me, so I decided to do a course for a wine consultant to get to know more about the rich wine history in Croatia. In my free time, I love long walks with my dog and reading books. I absolutely love my job and cannot wait to share with you all the beauties that the city of Split and the region of Dalmatia have to offer! If you were looking for a private guide to experience the region like a true local - you are right where you should be!

Darko

Croatia

Dear visitors, my name is Darko, I've been in love with Croatia since the first day of my life and my goal is to pass that love to You. I was born and raised in Split, pearl of the Mediterranean sea and since forever I am fascinated by history, culture and nature. At the beginning of my career I worked in Croatian national theater and in Split city museum as an official tour guide and that experience with knowledge I got from my older colleagues helped me a lot and gave me a big impulse in becoming freelancer. Today my full time job is producer of cultural events but my true passion is tour guiding. As I am scuba diver, hiker and big fan of football, I incorporate all those hobbies and knowledge in my tours.

Slavica

Croatia

Hi, I am Slavica, welcome to my beautiful Dalmatia! I am a licensed tourist guide for the Split-Dalmatia County for the English language. I was born and live in Split, and I grew up in the town of Kaštela, which is located right between two UNESCO cities, Trogir and Split. I come from a traditional family of fishermen and farmers who have lived in Kaštela for almost 400 years. From my grandfather, an olive grower and winegrower, I listened from an early age stories about our turbulent past, cultural heritage, and interesting and brave people who opposed many attacks of various invaders and managed to maintain their way of life and values. After completing my classical education in Split, I spent some wonderful years in London where I attended media studies, then returned home, and until recently worked as a camerawoman and editor for the national news. 2019 came, and I decided to turn my career around. I decided to follow my dreams and try something new, so I earned a degree to be a tour guide, and thus combined my two passions into one: interpreting historical and cultural heritage, and "capturing" those special and happy moments on camera. Apart from history, art, and film, I adore good home-made food, which we have in abundance in this Mediterranean area, and I will be happy to share some secret recipes with you.

Awesome Tour with an Awesome Guide!

Leandra took me off the beaten path of the most touristy sites in Tokyo and gave me a great tour of the city's "Shitamachi" (which means "Downtown", or the areas where regular folks live amongst shops and stores). I recommend going off the beaten path and ask her to take you on similar tours through areas like Yanaka, Ochanomizu and Machiya! You won't regret it. Leandra is a very approachable, intelligent and lively person who's great at conversation - in other words, the perfect guide! I highly recommend choosing your tours with her.

Tokyo Highlights in half a day!

My family and I went on a tour of Tsukiji Fish Market, Asakusa and Ginza with Kahoko San. She was a great guide, very knowledgeable on how to get around these very popular sites and adapted the tour to meet the changing weather of the day. She knew how much I loved Doraemon and arranged for us to go to the Doraemon Future Department Store! Afterwards she took us to the statue of Liberty (replica of the one in New York). It was my first time seeing lady liberty up close! It was a fantastic day with a truly wonderful guide. ありがとうカホコさん、また次回まで、さようなら

Thank you very much for the kind review! Even though it was a pretty busy day, it was so much fun to me. I wanted your husband to taste some gut stew in Tsukiji fish market though, because he really seemed to like it. Regarding Doraemon, there are more places to go such as a museum or a picture point. If you have another chance, I will definitely research them. I will also ask my son about some related places because he has grown up with him and knows much more about him. I saw him cry with Doraemon movies many times. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing you again!

Breathtaking

Kahoko San prepared an amazing tour for my family to Nikko. We were driven up the mountain by a wonderful man (personally selected by Kahoko San) who had a lot of experience navigating the incredibly windy road! We saw incredible vistas and walked through the Imperial Villa. I highly recommend this tour, make sure it's with Kahoko San!!

Thank you very much for your trouble giving me several reviews. You are too sweet. By the way, that precious Ura fan is on the wall of my room and always makes me smile. From now on,I will remember you whenever I watch sumo on TV. Thanks to you , I myself enjoyed a day in Nikko seeing you appreciate every place. Thank you for picking me as your guide. I hope I have a chance to see you again, probably with your daughter next time. Until then , please stay fit and healthy. Take care !

Very special tour

I requested a custom tour of Yokosuka as my family has deep roots in that city. It was also my son's first time in Japan and it was important that he see where his family is from. Kahoko San created a tour tailored to my needs which also included a stop in the very famous Kamakura where we saw the great Buddha statue. She went out of her way to walk the tour on her own before she presented it to me. I am so grateful for all the work she put into it, it was a truly wonderful day for me and my family. ありがとうカホコさん、また次回まで、さようなら

Kahoko K.

Thank you very much for your prompt and warm review, Your Yokosuka tour became one of the most memorable tours in my careers. I was highly impressed with your family story and was a great pleasure to share a special time with you. I hope my favorite Great Budda will bless your family forever.
