Akira-san was a great guide. We reorganized our agenda somewhat on the fly due to rain and were able to see the sites that were most important to us. He helped us get well acquainted with the public transport system (which is a better way to see how Tokyo operates) and was knowledgeable and a delight to spend time with. When my family started planning our trip, our friends recommended their tour guide, Akira. I’m glad that we booked with him. Our first full day in Tokyo was one of two days booked with Akira, and heavy rain was forecasted. Akira reached out a few days before arrival to ask if we wanted to move our two-day tour out a day since he could accommodate it, and it worked out great. Akira is very knowledgeable about Tokyo regarding history, navigation, and food. He showed us how to navigate the transit system and suggested great places for lunch. We got to try Okonomiyaki (Japanese cabbage pancake) and ramen with chicken. Akira showed us the neighborhood where the locals live in addition to Al the attractions. Akira made our family trip memorable
