On this tour, tourists can have an experience about Ethiopian rock hewn churches, especially those people who have no a chance to see Lalibela rock hewn churches.

At the the same time you will have the opportunity to feel ancient burial places marked by rock pillars.

Adadimariam monastry

This is a church cut from a living rock by king Lalibela after he retired from active government. It belongs to Ethiopian Orthodox religion and is a major pilgrimage site for people from Addis Ababa and its surroundings.

Tiya cemetery field

This is an archeological site where an important people in that surrounding used to be buried and back to between the 13th and 14th c. All the graves are marked by rock pillars decorated by different kinds of figurines with their own meanings

As I am working in the travel business, I work from Monday- Sunday. But in the month of May 2023, I am not available in Addis Ababa for I fly to Gondar. In case if your are coming there by that month, I can arrange you all the necessary things for the city tour of Gondar and trekking or day trip to the Simen mountains NP.
